I've seen and sifted through quite a few from the right time period = though.=20 If you were at the Nininger/Huss estate sale you must have came home = with a bit more than one copy of LIFE. That was a sale I sure would have enjoyed attending! =20 Actually, the WARD'S Natural Science Bulletin, Nov 1950 mentioned in my = previous email, also happens to contain an article titled 'A New, = Interesting Feature in Henbury Irons' by H.H. Nininger.=20 His article along with V. Ben Meen's titled 'The Chubb Crater = Expedition' has made that issue which featured on it's cover a close-up = of the moon, clearly showing many craters on it's suface, well worth = keeping.=20 I will remember to take a closer look at any early 50's "Popular = Astronomy" magazines I happen to run-into from now on.=20 Thanks for the info... =20 R. Hello Szep, I happen to have that Life magazine with the Chugg crater = article. I bought it at the Margaret Nininger/Huss estate sale this = year. The mag belonged to either H.H.Nininger or Glenn Huss, most likely = to Nininger. It has "Save" written on the front cover. Do you also have = the Life magazine on Chubb crater?=20 The "Popular Astronomy" magazines of 1950's and 1951's have a lot = of articles on meteorites, many written by Nininger.
