Hi All:
Things are rainy and cold today. We are just about ready to head to the show
and see what goodies we can find. Overall, Blaine Reed's room has the most
eccletic grouping of material available. Huge slices of ordinary chondrites
(some over a kilo each), several martian and lunar species, and a wide
variety of different falls and finds from around the world. Campos are the
most popular irons, although there were only a handfull with decent
character and they were bringing higher prices than at Tucson (even for
wholesale). The quality is not what it was 2 years ago.

The Comets/Blood auction was great. Many deals could be had, especially from
the Hupe brothers who graciously donated at least a dozen specimens with no
reserve! A few lunars and martians mixed in with witnessed falls and two
super 6 kg (?) Taza irons that made you drool.

Jim Strope showed me an absolutly stunning 250gram oriented Murchison with
blue fusion crust. Jim, you gotta post a picture of it. It had what looked
like a cow pie still stuck to the front.

Gotta run...
