This idea is for those, like me, that are in need of temporary protection (from the likes of the dreaded Count Vac-u-lar !) for our precious micromounts and fragments. To enjoy viewing a specimen without removing it from the case, obtain a crystal clear acrylic1x1or 2x2 box. Gently stretch an over size piece of plastic food wrap across the bottom half of the case. Hold the wrap taunt and position the specimen. Align and press on the lid. The plastic wrap should stretch and pull the specimen tightly to the inside of the lid. Use a sharp to cut away the excess wrap. That's it ! I hope someone will find this helpful. Best wishes to all, Mike Gallant IMCA 7583 Received on Tue 14 Oct 2003 02:27:55 PM PDT |
