If someone CHRONICALLY violates those rules - especially the one about obscenity, EVENTUALLY Art will suspend or permanently remove that person from the list. Art is VERY patient and very much loathe to take such action. He expects people to moderate themselves. It might (and only MIGHT) have SOME effect to contact the people to whom one objects OFF LIST and let them know of your unhappiness with their list behavior. Ironically, those who "act up" or "act out" tend to actually somehow FEED off of public condemnation. It is a strange phenomenon. What seems to "work" the best is to totally ignore obnoxious behavior. Most of the worst offenders knock off whatever they are doing if they don't manage to "get a rise" out of people. They tire of performing when they get no response from their audience. Of course, if said person is a dealer, one can let them know they have lost ANOTHER customer due to obnoxious behavior. (again, off list seems to work best here - as ANY public attention seems to set off another round of acting out). Don't hallucinate that Art "should" be a more active "moderator" in enforcing the rules. It isn't his "job" - he just set up and maintains the list out of the kindness of his heart. It isn't his responsibility how people choose to use the list. It is OUR responsibility how we use the list. Hope some of this helps. Best wishes, Michael Don't accept rides from strange men, and remember that all men are strange.
