Hello bobe5531_at_comcast.net,

In reference to your comment:

=E8 Does anyone know if there is an article about the Park
=E8 Forest meteorite in the December issue of Astronomy
=E8 magazine? Bob E.

Hello Bob and list,

Yes, there is a great 4 page article in the December Issue of Astronomy p.=20
84-87, written by Ray Shubinski, about meteorite collecting in general. The=
re=20
are some references to Park Forest, but there is much more to it than just=20
that. It a great introduction to the hobby overall. Shubinski did a super j=
ob=20
tying both the current event (of the Park Forest Fall and ebay buying) with=20
historical events and the standard info on different types of meteorites.

I think the facts are all correct (amazing for a major publication nowadays)=
 a
nd it is actually an interesting read for those both new and old to the=20
topic. Well worth the news stand price of $4.95.
