You can take a walk from micro to macro -- known universe to sub-atomic -- in jumps of powers of 10, on a ramp that encloses the planetarium proper. The planetarium itself is a sphere in the middle of the display, and is used as a reference point -- "If the planetarium sphere represents the size of a hydrogen atom, then this dot is the size of a proton within its nucleus." Very cool; if you are in NYC, check it out. Oh yeah, and don't forget to look at the newly revamped Hall of Meteorites in the Museum proper :-) Tracy Latimer _________________________________________________________________ MSN Shopping upgraded for the holidays!
