country/land? (Especially an Asteroid). - simply absurd!

On the same theme I wonder if the laws of Salvage apply in space? If you
were to collect a derelict satellite and bring it back would you then be
able to claim ownership??

they can even make a judgment on something so big outside their country;

if proof is needed how far the pendulum has swung......and they all owe
a debt of gratitude to the success the McDonald's suit had, making such
astions mainstream rather than fringe.
