Largest Meteor Crater in World in North Sask.?

REGINA - (AP) - A party from the Dominien observatory and the geological =
staff of the Saskatchewan goverment are studying what may turn out to the=
largest meteor crater in the world - three times as large as the biggest=
crater ever established as being caused by a meteor.
Reports here said a six-mile wide gash in the earth's surface has been fo=
und in Northern Saskatchewan at Deep Bay on Reindeer Lake, 250 miles nort=
heast of Prince Albert. It is so deep that its depth has not been establi=
shed.
Dr. M. J. S. Innes of the Dominion observatory staff is at the site. Dr. =
C. S. Beas, Dominion astronomer, says he hopes this year's work will esta=
blish the origin of the crater.
Mark Bostick comment: This site has been proven to be a meteorite impact =
structure and is currantly known as Deep Bay.
