Open House to Take Visitors on Virtual Tour of the Solar System

People of all ages are invited to explore the solar system and beyond
in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley this Saturday & Sunday, May 17
and 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day. Space enthusiasts and
non-space buffs alike will have the opportunity to go inside NASA's
Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif., to share the excitement
of the latest missions and technologies during this year's JPL Open
House.

The open house will take visitors on a virtual tour through the solar
system with this year's theme, "Journey To The Planets and Beyond."
This free, fun-filled, family event has everything from virtual hang
gliding lessons to a chance to have your picture taken in infrared
light. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with scientists and
engineers, who will staff booths.
