This story sounds very familiar to me. A couple of years ago, I shipped a meteorite to a buyer and agreed to accept payment in 4 monthly installments. The first 3 installments arrived on schedule, but the 4th and final payment was witheld. There was no explanation given....the payment just wasn't sent to me. Being a trusting soul, I let it go for several more weeks before emailing a polite reminder, enquiring about this "missing" payment. The buyer emailed me back and stated that final payment would not be made, as the price of that particular meteorite had fallen over the last few months. !?!?!
