Hello Mark and List,

It is funny that you mention thin-sections because we were thinking =
about making some. Olivine diogenites are quite fascinating under a =
petrologic scope. I still have a hard time telling the difference =
between orthopyroxene and olivine in thin-section. The olivine count of =
~50% was done with a microprobe at the University of Washington.

Here is link that shows some fascinating images of NWA 1459 as well as =
some data:

I hope you will find this interesting.

All the best,

Adam

  Hello Adam and list,

Adam wrote: " I will take some images of the main mass and see if I =
can point out some areas of interest in a few days."

And perhaps some thin section photos? I am curious in how it looks =
compared to diogenites, as my diogenite thin sections look like they =
have lots of olivine in them.

  Mark

PS: Any thin sections of it for sale?
