Being a Texan myself, I can tell that the "Don't Mess With Texas" signs are, more specifically, part of an ongoing and someowhat sucessful anti-littering campiagn. At least, this phrase started off as a slogan in the anti-littering campaign. Since then, the slogan has been adapted, tongue-in-cheek as an insignia of expatriate Texans. They are espcially seen on the cars of Texans living in Colorado. However, I am an exception in that I am expatriate Texan in Louisiana and I don't have one on my car. I do have one in my work room at home. Yours, Paul Baton Rouge, LA >ASPMET wrote: >> >>ear Dr. Ross Thank you for your report >>from the Odessa Meteor Craters.
