Tonight Wednesday July 16th is the night that brilliant Mars (mag. -2) will rise v.close to the nearly Full Moon. It should be a spectacular sight to the naked eye. Look over in the East-to-Southeast (constellation of Aquarius )just about 22:30 onwards as the pair rise above the horizon- do not go to bed without checking out the view which should be an awesome sight. Mars will be blazing just to the left of the Moon all night. From the southern USA and parts of South America they will see the Moon pass in front of Mars!
