Dietz, R. S., 1966, Striated surfaces on meteorites; shock fractures, not slickensides. Meteoritics. vol. 3, no. 1, pp. 31-33. 2. Sanchez, R. G. Martinez, R. J., Reyes, S. A. M,. Robles, C. J., Vazquez, R. J. T., and Flores, G. D., 1998, Cuartaparte Meteorite; a faulted ordinary chondrite. Papers Presented to the 23rd symposium on Symposium on Antarctic Meteorites. vol. 23, p. 141, National Institute of Polar Research. Tokyo, Japan. The abstract to Diezt (1966) read: "Veined and brecciated chondrites commonly display striated fractures which have been interpreted as slickensides (fault dislocations). Observations on several such fractures in various collections suggest that they are not true slickensides but, instead, are probably shock features related to shatter coning." Obviously, there are other references, but they are simply not indexed.
