It wasnt a big fireball ..... more of a thin line, but died out approx = 20 Degrees from the surface of the earth. I wondered if there was any way to determine the mass of such a = fireball. Would appreciate your opinions Bob Evans ------=_NextPart_000_000A_01C3C019.20665A80 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML xmlns:o =3D "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type charset=3DUTF-8 content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dutf-8"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.50.4522.1800" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY style=3D"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; BACKGROUND-COLOR: = #ffffff"=20 bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV>Hello list,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This evening driving home from work I spotted a meteor that = appeared to=20 fall vertically a bit east of Plainfield Illinois.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It wasnt a big fireball ..... more of a thin line, but died out = approx 20=20 Degrees from the surface of the earth.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I wondered if there was any way to determine the mass of such a=20 fireball.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Would appreciate your opinions</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bob Evans</DIV></BODY></HTML> ------=_NextPart_000_000A_01C3C019.20665A80-- Received on Thu 11 Dec 2003 08:01:04 PM PST |
