[meteorite-list] geological history of desert strewfields

Dear listees,

I remember heaving read an article in MAPS (2002=3F) regarding the specific =
geomorphological history of the Dar al Ghani plateau. One of the authors m=
ust have been Dr. Jochen Schlueter from the Mineralogical Institute Univer=
sity of Hamburg Germany. The article related on the correlation of sedimen=
tation and erosion on the one hand and the aggregation of meteorite falls =
over a long period on the other.=20

Since I couldn't find the text online and interlending via the local unive=
rsity would take up to two weeks I thought Ill have a try with the list. M=
aybe one of you has archived MAPS and remembers the article. If someone co=
uld provide a scan this would be very helpful. Needless to say, any other =
contributions concerning this issue are welcome too. Im currently working =
on a paper regarding meteorite concentrations in the T=E9n=E9r=E9 desert and the=
ir possible relation with the sedimentation of the palaeo-Lake Tschad.
