All,

I've noticed over the last few months that more and more of the postings
here contain HTML code.

For those of us who use ordinary text-based software (like Outlook) to
access the list, the result is a very ugly read and a WHOLE LOT of
scrolling. At best, the post has 3-4 times more useless lines at the end
than actual text message. In some cases, the text is nearly impossible to
read at all.

I don't want to name names, but a whole BUNCH of people here need to check
out their preferences to make sure they're not posting HTML code along with
their list messages. And yes, I even mean many of the central, very visible
figures on the list. Please folks, have a heart. Check your web browser
preferences.
