<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV>here in the deep south, artifacts from skyrox are VERY rare. the wettness makes short work of anything thin or worked. i have had several gorgets come&nbsp; in that were suspect by the finders , but all were hematite or geothite. i have heard of a few worked ga tektites around, but authenticity on these has yet to be determined (for that matter, what is the patination rate on a ga tektite)? the bonita&nbsp;springs, fl meteorite was found buried in a mound (and that's what probably preserved it in the salty air of lee, co.) but it was not worked. i'm sure that somewhere out there, there is a nice clovis made from a ga tektite, but i have not seen it yet. of the hundreds of thousands of artifacts i see each year buying collection, at shows, etc., none were real eye grabbers and i have yet to see a metal flake.</DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>Add photos to your messages with <a href="http://g.msn.com/8HMLENUS/2749">MSN 8. </a> Get 2 months FREE*.</html>
