Dear List,
  This caper, complete with an aspiring "astronaut and
geologist" (who trashed his career) and a biblical
figure named Job, and a Belgian collector who loves
honesty (in spite of the current brouhaha between
Europe and the U.S. over stolen objects d'art)is a
clear subject for a book, miniseries and/or movie. It
would also be a good lesson for those who start in
science at the intern level in the importance of
honesty; as a teacher, I would put this story in the
library and assign it.
   So who will do the research and write it?
