I just wanted to bring to your attention that a combination of factors have come into play in my life recently which requires of me to part with some of my treasured cosmic debris. I usually wind up selling some of my meteorites every year or so on this list anyway, just to be able to acquire larger, rarer, or more expensive ones in turn, but this time the reasons are somewhat different. As I have already disclosed with a couple of list members already off list, I'm going through a rather painful divorce, and to add to the anguish, with my one and only child of 4 years old caught in the middle. Of course, there are financial related issues as well as the usual bills, IRS. etc. ... If that weren't enough, I'm also presently unemployed. No, this is not a bad soap opera script or whatever you choose to label it. Please don't misunderstand my motives here, I'm not trying to garnish sympathy. I'm just being up front why I need to sell some 35 to 40 specimens out of my collection -- which will be hard pressed to be called a collection if I sell the pieces I intend to. :) My offer is that EVERY piece I'm putting up for sell will be between 20 to 25% less than what I either paid for it or what someone could purchase it for today! Generally, it will be more like 25% off of what I paid plus shipping costs. However, an item or two might go for what I paid for it just because you won't find it anywhere, at least not on the Internet, for what I paid for it -- especially not 20 - 25% less! Some of the items will include; Bensour, Bishopville, Taza, Zagami (3 polished pieces totalling ~ .670g for $250), Portales Valley, Canyon Diablo, Odessa ( 582.5g ind. _at_.50/g) and so on. I'll email a complete item list with weight and asking price, and I might even ( I said, I might even) come down a little more on some items if I'm really hard pressed. However, even though I'm definitely not trying to make any kind of a profit, I'm NOT going to totally give these things away. I wasn't wealthy when I purchased them, and I'm certainly not now! For those of you interested, or just curious to see my bad photographic and scanning skills, I'll be more than happy to email images of items you may be interested in. Finally, please give me some time to respond to any request. I'm juggling several balls at once right now, but I assure you, I'll be as quick and through in getting back with anyone requesting something! I'll be in and out some tomorrow, Saturday, but I'll be as fair as can be with 1st come, 1st served! Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from some of you soon! Sincerely, Mal IMCA #6819 P.S.
