The scientific community has stressed the importance of = recovering more of the tektite looking objects so the Lang/Hupe team = will be sampling areas all over the impact zone. This stone showed up in a shipment today. It was found imbedded in the = street right after the fall. It weighs 525 grams and shows a beautiful = breccia filled with shock veins. The wholesale price is now well over = $20.00 a gram, actually higher in Chicago. We will make this one = available at $15.00 a gram until tomorrow 12:00 noon if anybody is = interested. This amounts to $7,875.00, less than you can purchase it in = the Park Forest neighborhood for.
