It's bittersweet to be sure and he did not show a great deal of emotion but does extend his thanks. I have a list of who got what and he is happy to see so many in list member's hands. Many of you have received specimens and you may not a complete lack of specimen boxes. He has EVERY intention of filling them all up again when this is said and done. His son is no better at this point but a specialist is involved and the seller is optimistic. Tomorrow we will resume in the evening around ~5pm Pacific Wednesday ~8pm Thursday ~8pm Friday Saturday Sunday I am out of town Monday ~noon And we'll go from there I plan to end this the weekend after the one upcoming....and those are days you will want to save up for. It was autographed by Ninninger in 1948 to a Mrs. J. F. Black. Overall it's in great shape with some foxing. Pages and spine are tight. $250 2) The Smithsonian Series, Minerals From the Earth and Sky. 1944 The book is NEW. Let me explain. Each year Brandeis University has a book sale, (according to Guiness---it's the worlds largest) in the Chicagoland area. On a table, I found three box sets of the Smithsonian Series. They were selling them as singles, not the entire set. So, I picked up all of the #3's.This one was still in the cardboard case, and appears that the case had never been opened, or the book thumbed through. $40 Books Donated by Steven Sachs Links: Photo pages: http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/robandcolleen11197/rlst?.dir=/&.src=ph&.done=http ....and the eBay sales page http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/nakhladog/ -- Rob Wesel ------------------ We are the music makers...and we are the dreamers of the dreams.
