This beautiful iron shows the Widmanstatten pattern, naturally carved on the surface. You can see the picture in www.meteorites.cl Classification: John Wasson UCLA It is a IIIAB iron with about 7 microg/g Ir. There is no Chilean iron with such an Ir content. There is one iron from South America, the large iron called Sanclerlandia, that is similar in composition. I will sell only 2 slices, since I want to preserve this meteorite, with their beautiful widmanstatten surface, in my collection.
