It traveled in the opp= osite direction to the meteor of July 20th, coming from the east and goin= g west, but seems to have been at about the same distance from the earth,= and is declared by some to have been equally brillant. The moon was shin= ing brightly, but the light of the meteor was of dazzling brightness, and= it made separate shawdows.
