I can see no reason it would cause harm to the = meteorites other than a film of protectant that the excess, if any = forms, can be easily wiped off with a good cloth. I can't vouch for how it would do with some of the styrene/acrylic cases = that many meteorites are stored in. Styrene is crazed by just regular = alcohol, so maybe asking the dealer if he's used it around light guage = plastics and such might be a great first step and writing the = manufacturer couldn't hurt either. Sure is something to think about, = especially with the way those nantans rust.
