I had the opportunity to cherry pick some really nice amethyst cathedrals on Friday and though I would make them available here. These are the deepest, royal purple I have ever seen and have the tiniest crystals you can find. The big advantage there is the combination of maximum interior surface and light catching ability. From a collector standpoint, that is what I prefer, as opposed to the larger, more washed out, crystals. I have two pieces that were of the same whole. One is pictured below, the other is quite similar but for a single cluster of pure white calcite and a base that is much deeper. There is thready calcite veining in both. They are ~20 inches tall and weigh about 25 pounds. They don't get any better. Price: $350 each or $650 for the pair plus actual shipping and insurance to be paid in a second payment once I send. Now, for your viewing pleasure: http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/27e2423e/bc/My+Photos/geode.jpg?bcU3CA.A7QsOO Rkl I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy tomorrow's Leonids, looks bad here in Oregon. -- Rob Wesel ------------------ We are the music makers...and we are the dreamers of the dreams.
