 Hello Members,

Only a few weeks ago, some of you asked if the controversy around Tafassasset
had been resolved.
I was reading the latest "Meteorite" and in the NEWS article "Annual
Meteoritical Society Meeting", I found the following statement:

       "The unusual Niger meteorite Tafassasset was discussed by Jutta
Zipfel, who suggested it is surely related to the CR chondrites, but has been
severely metamorphosed and partly melted".

Does that help answer the question?
