Second, I wanted everyone to know that I have absolutely no auctions = running on ebay at the moment. (How often do you see that posted?) Third, I would like to invite those on the list who are new to the world = of meteorites to visit my website, www.branchmeteorites.com. It has = been a totally educational site since the first of the year and there = are pages devoted to meteorite classification (which really needs = updating), collecting meteorites, meteorites in history, finding = meteorites, meteorite myths, books and links, and a page devoted to = meteorites which have hit objects. Germane to the present topic, I added a page at the first of this month = devoted to questionable activities and statements which I have observed = to be used by some sellers of meteorites. These things range from = harmless dealer hype to outright fraud. "Old timers" will likely gain = no new knowledge from these observations but those new to collecting = meteorites may find the page useful. Fourth, it has come to my attention that I may have had a computer virus = recently so if anyone receives a "fishy" looking email from me please = delete it. Also, I NEVER send attachments to email unless I am = requested to do so. Finally, some of you are aware that my mother passed away last week. = This has been a very difficult time for me and I want thank everyone who = sent me their condolences.
