<P>Bonjour &nbsp;Christian, Hello all, </P>
<P>Yes, Hainaut is a french meteorite. This meteorite fall in november 1934 at 60 meters from the border, in France.&nbsp;&nbsp; The press says that another &nbsp;fragment would be fall in a field near Gerpinnes. A Gerpinnes police patrol&nbsp; would have seen it fallen, but did not find it.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You can look this meteorite at : <A href="http://users.skynet.be/meteorite.be/HAINAUT.html">http://users.skynet.be/meteorite.be/HAINAUT.html</A></P>
<P>Concerning the last candidate meteorite,under studies, recoverded in december 2001: I go to the finder this week-end for specify circumstances of fall or find,&nbsp; know the date and the time, coordinates, etc....</P>
<P>For the&nbsp;collectors &nbsp;who will go in Einsisheim, I will present all&nbsp; Belgian meteorites known at our table. (sorry, no trade and not for sale...&nbsp;&nbsp; just looking it)</P>
<P>Best regards, </P>

<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;Secondly, Belgium should have a fourth meteorite..... the first new
<DIV></DIV>&gt;meteorite &gt;since 1896!!!!!
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;You seem to forget:
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Hainaut Stone Olivine-bronzite chondrite H3-6 brecciated
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Bettrechies 50ø 19' N 3ø 44' E Fell 1934 November 26 2000-2100
<DIV></DIV>&gt;"Fell in the commune of Bettrechies, dept. Nord, 60m east of the Belgian
<DIV></DIV>&gt;frontier; probable weight 15-20kg, but only 9kg were recovered. Description,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;There is discussion if this a Belgian or French meteorite ;-)
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;It is a observed fall in December 2001, and immediately recovered.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;So a precise date and time must be available.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;This stone arrived red, in fusion, and remained very hot a long time,
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;according to the finder. The stone, oriented was conserved in a box.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Red hot? Suspicious.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; From Belgium too,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
