Amazon has most of
them at prices as good as you're likely to find. The Rubin book is $21.
Also, I have been having really good luck buying used books in excellent
condition through the Amazon dealers at greatly reduced prices.
Here's the link to the Rubin book, Disturbing the Solar System:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0691074747/ref=pd_sim_books_4/104-8731590-2980754
I don't think Rubin has a doctorate. It was never mentioned in his bio on
the cover.
You may be right about Wyoming being due for the next meteorite fall.
Sounds like a great opportunity for a betting pool. Are you giving odds?
Good luck,
Jerry Wallace
David Freeman wrote:
>Dear Jerry;
>Meteor would blow in like Wyoming wind.....
>I got a good laugh from Noo Yawk.....
>That corrilated history of earth poster I have shows some grouping
>throuh out history of "clusters" for lack of a better word, of impacts
>escpecially around and before the crestaceous, Does Dr. Rubin address
>much of that?
>Book is one that I should get, what did it cost?
>Best,
>Dave Freeman
>Wyoming is next new meteorite fall area, we only have 12 recorded
>meteorites and last was 1947, we are over due...
Received on Fri 14 Jun 2002 12:11:06 PM PDT |
