Hi Rosie,

That's too bad. I hoped the owners "test" for a meteorite would catch on.

According to the auction page:

"In addition, my obervation of this meteor is that it has the glassy surface
and "dark gray look". I also took a steel rod, 3/4 inch in diameter and
struck it. The sound was that of metal to metal."

Hmmm, sure sounds like a meteorite to me.
