Hi,

    In their press announcement, eBay has made it clear that PayPal will
continue to operate as an independent (and successful) entity. eBay says it will
drop its own (unsuccessful) BillPoint service. Afterall, they bought PayPal
because it has won the overall competition for on-line payment services, sucking
up a huge market share. If you can't beat'em, buy'em out.
