I just got out of morocco. Had a hard time buying meteorites compared to before. I no longer see people with hundreds of kilos in a pile in a room. just people with 7 or 8 kilos in a box. I am certainly happy that more people never took me up on a 6000 dollar investment lot that I was trying to put together a month ago. I wouldent have made any money and wouldent have had stuff to sell in tucson. the nomads have been searching the sahara and arabian deserts and the moroccan nomads basically get nomads everywhere else to search for them. I got requests for several hundred rare earth magnets from the nomads. I stayed in the desert a couple days with the nomads and met two who used the islamic requirement to visit mecca in saudi arabia as an excuse to go on a two year meteorite hunt.

Due to the difficulty in getting more material I plan on raising my price of unsorted stuff to 250 dollars a kilo from my current 200 after tucson. I plan on searching it more also (i have been feeling this way for the past 6 weeks after i learned that I dumped 11 kilos of the NWA acapolcolite for 20 cents a gram thinking that it was just an unusual H5).

I will post some photos and more details next week when I get back to canada. Have more beer to drink here in amsterdam right now before I catch a flight later today;

Had a fun trip. Got 400 kilos of stuff to sell in tucson.

Do be sure to drop by when in tucson. I am in room 162 at the innsuites

cheers
