Anyone else have any info? >> Of all the craters larger than 10 meters across, only 3 older than 50,000 years old have meteorite fragments associated with them. Wolf Creek, 300,000 yrs, and Veevers and Monturaqui at 1 million years old. All three in dry desert regions. Older meteorites have been found, but not associated with impact craters. While it may not be impossible to have fragments from a 65 million year old impact crater I would consider it doubtful.
