    Of all the craters larger than 10 meters across, only 3 older than 50,000
years old have meteorite fragments associated with them. Wolf Creek,
300,000 yrs, and Veevers and Monturaqui at 1 million years old. All three
in dry desert regions. Older meteorites have been found, but not associated
with impact craters.
     While it may not be impossible to have fragments from a 65 million year
old impact crater I would consider it doubtful. For a list of craters with
