I did not see it but here are reports thus far: William Prewitt, at Tallmadge, OH saw it cross from east to west in the south, green to blue green in color, about 6:40. He reported it to the Mahoning Valley Astronomical Society Bulletin list. Beverly Christen, of Yellow Creek, Irondale OH area saw it at "about 6:45". It was as bright as the full moon, passing east to southwest, disappearing over Timothy Ridge (a large ridge near Yellow Creek). It was below the altitude of the Moon. There was another anonymous report of sighting from Broadacre, OH, but no details. Alexander Ferguson, East Liverpool, OH saw it to the s. break up, from a vantage point on St Clair Ave hill. It burned green and broke up into multiple pieces. Alexander Ferguson is only 8 years old; a similarly single-digit-aged friend, Corey Wilson, was with him and saw it too. At the time, I was watching a national network newscast. Darn. Francis Graham __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
