My daughter and I had been out looking at the ISS pass that night just a few minutes before the fireball but unfortunately we were stuffing ourselves with turkey when the fireball happened. :-( Chris is a member of our local astronomy club and works with the Denver Museum. He helped set up an all sky camera network at schools around the state. Here's the link to the information. He feels sure that material did reach the ground but it's a large rugged area and will be difficult to search, especially once we have more snow. http://www.cloudbait.com/science/fireball20021128.html Ginger Divide, CO Received on Sat 07 Dec 2002 10:48:32 AM PST |
