However, it has been my observation that the "value" of a meteorite is usually dictated by supply and demand. A quick look at eBay shows that of the 4 specimens of Lost Creek closing recently, the Lost Creek meteorite hasn't even generated one sale at a price as low as $2.75 per gram in the last 30 days; and that price was for a specimen of less than 30 grams. Larger specimens historically sell for less than smaller ones. Just an observation.
