Hi Dave & all,
    This "list" is as close to unmoderated as can be. Art Jones sponsors
the list via Meteorite Central. However, though there is a healthy list
of rules (everyone gets it when they sign up) it requires continual and
truly obnoxious violations before Art takes action. He is a man of great
patience. To my knowledge, only a few have been suspended (one for
only a month or so, several for several months) and only one has been
permanently banished. All for ongoing, aggressive, name calling criticism
of other list members. In the case of permanent removal, highly graphic
obscene homophobia was integrated into the mix.
    So, the children are in the sand box ALMOST alone, but if it gets down
right chaotic, Art steps in and (privately) removes those out of control
for some "quite time" so they can cool down and gain a tad civility - or at
least allow the fear of total banishment to keep their id urges reigned in.
