David Weir wondered (after Ron had written):

"the story hasn't been d i s p r o v e n either."

Hello"dog_gone" doggies :-)

Here is the entry in my RANDOM HOUSE WEBSTER:

dis·prove, -proved, -prov·ing.
to prove (an assertion, claim, etc.) to be false or wrong; refute;
invalidate: I disproved his claim.

—dis·prova·ble, adj.
—dis·prover, n.
—Syn. discredit, contradict, negate, confute.

Cheers,

Bernd (Who Never Met Jane)
Pauley (or was that Pauli ? :-)
