Any thought's or theories on what > happened to the other 3.2 kg's? Well, you have to consider it was a witnessed fall from 1815, and the field of meteoritrics was in its infancy then. Also, of course, it was not suspected of being a Mars meteorite back then either - that came much, much later. It was probably treated an ordinary meteorite, nothing special, and portions of it was carelessly lost or misplaced. Or perhaps mislabeled. >Any chance on more > turning up?
