I forgot to add that Kevin K. will be disappointed by this inclusion at the
bottom of pg. 309:

"(Actually, the only known victim of Martian attack is an Egyptian dog
that died on 28 June 1911 when it was struck by one of about forty
stones during the fall of the Martian meteorite Nakhla.)"
