Would it be possible to take a small chip of fusion crust on a meteorite find (iE NWA's) and then determine how long ago it was molten to give a rough idea of when it fell? Just an idea I been toying around with.

Clear Skies & Happy Hunting,

Jay Haynes

IMCA Member #:6905

www.geocities.com/cdnastronomer/meteorite.html

Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. Click Here

Received on Tue 09 Apr 2002 12:29:55 PM PDT |
