The first: Big perturbations on television during 2 seconds, and big flash outdoor. The second: 2 of 3 seconds later: Charly, my dog, usually very calm, started to bark furiously, while fleeing and seemed to be very nervous. All the dogs of the district also barked.

I live in Belgium at 600 Km West of Bavaria... It's perhaps a coincidence, or then an effect of the passage of this first bolide. The second bolide explode just above the Belgium / Netherland, and the third explode in Scotland, at 400 Km West of my home.... I don't think that's meteorite.... probably a satellite reentry. I verify this idea with P. Temmerman, great specialist of satellite fall.

It's a lucky coincidence, this week-end I'm participate to experience of radio detection of bolides.... I wait tomorrow or the next day to see all reports and radio-pics from this very exciting night of 6-7april.... Just for the fun, there is just 2 years, day per day, that I'm observed my first big northern aurora here in Belgium.... 6 april 2000.... :-)

Best regards

Discutez en ligne avec vos amis, essayez MSN Messenger : Cliquez ici

Received on Mon 08 Apr 2002 06:51:09 PM PDT |
