Imagine the database with native speakers pronouncing the meteorite names for all the world to hear with just a mouse click. Soon, as we drive across country, we can take the bird call CD out and pop in one to practice our meteorite names, for hours on end! If we divide the workload, we can pull this off faster than the human genome project! I'll handle all the meteorites from Montana and Idaho since most people on this planet have accents, but we here in this area of the US have none. This is exciting. I can almost hear the hours upon hours of Texan drawl rattling off 280 or so meteorite names before handing off to Kansas! Oooo, can't you just hear the native southern Californian's bubble off meteorite names in beach-talk or valley-girlese. Cool meteorite names are not just for the French anymore!
