Currently involved in my annual vacation. This year it involves taking
Amtrak across the continental US. Very glad I made reservations for this
adventure in July, almost prescient, one might say.

My offerings for what seems to be growing into the "Gross Local Dishes"
page:
1. German Blutwurst. Blood pudding as sausage. Rather tasty, if you grew
up with it.
2. Balut. Philipino dish involving preserved unborn baby chicks still in
eggs. Haven't tried this one yet, nor am inclined to.
