Hello Berndt and Dave,

Check out the photo of the 2.354 gram specimen of Norton County at
Rob Elliot's site.I purchased this from him and the black melt phase
has what definitely appear to be vesicles in it.They have nice
perfectly spherical interiors under the microscope and do not appear
to be a weathering phenomenon.

Regards,
Jim Baxter

Dave,

Are you sure you have Norton County under scrutiny?
This sounds more like the vesicular Ibitira eucrite!

Best wishes,

Bernd
