For a really good treatise on this subject, I suggest reading the work of Dr.
Michael R. Molner, THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM. His theoretical discussion
interweaves astronomical, astrological, and numismatical data to determine
what led the Magi to Bethlehem. Very interesting book.
