[meteorite-list] Do lunars smell?

Since it's so slow, I thought I'd ask the following question.

Do lunar rocks have an odor?

Buzz Aldrin said that there was a distinct smell to lunar material -
"...pungent, like gunpowder or spent cap-pistol caps". They carted a lot of
dust into the lunar module and Aldrin said that they noticed the odor right
away.

Maybe Mike Farmer or Jim Strope or those who have cut some of the lunars can
answer.

Just curious.
