Greetings meteorite enthusiasts!

On Saturday, October 13, 2001, at about 9:42 P.M EDT.,
a relatively loud noise was heard coming possibly from
the north or northeast, sounding suspiciously like a
sonic boom. It was raining lightly at the time and
the sky was pitifully clouded over. It did not quite
sound like a gun shot or thunder, and there was no
static on the radio. It was heard from inside my
family's house, here in Newaygo, MI. Any information
or news on this event would be greatly appreciated
including any fireball sightings that could be linked
to this occurrence.
