This is a virus alert prepared by the Network and Computer
Security (NCS) Group with the cooperation of the OAODNS
Alliance.

=A0This alert is applicable to subscribed and
non-subscribed Windows systems. =A0The following is a
description of the virus and steps to protect your
system.

NakedWife is a new Visual Basic Script (VBS) worm that
is spreading via e-mail. =A0If you are running Outlook,
NakedWife (alias JibJab) also deletes important files
from your Windows and System folders.

NakedWife arrives as an e-mail with the following:

=A0 =A0 Subject: FW: Naked Wife

=A0 =A0 Body: My wife never look like that :)
=A0 =A0Best Regards,
=A0 =A0(Sender)

=A0 =A0 Attached: NakedWife.exe


If the user clicks on the attachment, the worm will e-mail
itself to all the addresses in the Outlook Address Book. It
will also load a "Flash" window that will display the
following message:

=A0 =A0 JibJab, Loading

NakedWife then deletes files with the following extensions:

=A0 =A0 DLL, INI, EXE, BMP and COM

NakedWife will then display the following message:

=A0 =A0 You're now F****D! =A9 2001 by BGK (Bill Gates Killer)


The Symantec Anti-Virus Research Center (SARC) released new
virus definitions on March 6, 2001 that will detect this virus.
Please update your Norton Anti-Virus (NAV) Software
definition file as soon as possible.

Remember, if an email looks suspicious, do not open the attachment!

detects any virus:
